Healthy Plant Guarantee

At Elemental Bonsai Nursery, we are committed to sending you a healthy, vibrant plant. Every order is carefully packed to ensure it has the best chance of arriving safely.

Shipping Damage Claims

Our refund policy only applies to damage that occurs during shipping.

If your item arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us within 3 days of delivery.

  • Provide clear photos of the damaged plant, packaging, and shipping label.

  • Save all packaging materials including the box, packing paper, and label — these may be required to file a claim.

In some cases, we may ask you to return the damaged item. All shipping-related concerns are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Return Eligibility

Refunds or replacements are available only for:

  • Plants, pots, and tools that are unmodified and in original condition.

  • Tools and supplies that are unopened and in original packaging.

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Plants that have been repotted, pruned, or altered after delivery.

  • Tools or supplies that have been opened or used.

Shipping Costs & Refunds

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • We are only able to refund the purchase price of the product.

Normal Plant Behavior During Shipping

It is normal for some plants to drop leaves, flowers, or fruit during transit. Product photos may show flowering or fruiting plants, but we cannot guarantee they will arrive in that condition.

If your plant experiences leaf drop, don’t worry — with proper care, new growth should appear within a few weeks.

Climate Considerations

Most of our plants are tropical and grow best in warm, humid environments or greenhouses. While they can be grown indoors, success depends on creating the right conditions. We recommend researching how to optimize indoor environments for tropical plants.

Winter Shipping

Shipping to areas below 40°F (4°C) involves additional risk.
We recommend adding a heat pack to your order during colder months. However, we cannot guarantee against cold damage, even with a heat pack.

International Orders

Please note that we do not offer refunds, returns, or guarantees for international shipments.
