Join us for a hands-on Bonsai Workshop designed for those ready to deepen their practice!
In this 2–3 hour session, participants will work on their OWN bonsai or have the option to purchase a tree here to shape and style during the workshop.
We’ll provide all necessary tools, guidance, and one-on-one support as we work together on pruning, wiring, and styling techniques.
There will also be a live demonstration on one of our bonsai trees to walk through key steps and offer inspiration.
Whether you’re looking to refine an existing tree or gain the confidence to shape your first, this collaborative workshop is a great next step in your bonsai journey.

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll focus on real-time, personalized work with your bonsai. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tree — whether it’s a pre-bonsai, a styled tree in training, or something you’re unsure how to work with. It’s the perfect opportunity to get expert guidance, ask questions, and move forward with clarity.
We’ll cover foundational techniques such as:
Evaluating the structure and potential of your tree
Finding the best front and movement in any tree
Pruning for health, balance, and long-term design
Wiring branches safely and effectively
Creating flow, direction, and natural harmony
Preparing your tree for final planting or next steps
You’ll also observe a full demonstration on one of our bonsai trees, and we’ll provide all tools during class. Whether you're troubleshooting, shaping for the first time, or refining your design, this workshop is here to support your bonsai journey.
